Free the Five Activists of Mother Nature Cambodia!
The five young environmental defenders from the NGO Mother Nature Cambodia, Long Kunthea, Ly Chandaravuth, Phuon Keoraksmey, Thun Ratha and Yim Leanghy, have been detained in Cambodia for over 600 days – for peacefully campaigning for the protection of Cambodia's nature.
Despite the harsh prison conditions and the separation from their families, they stand by their convictions. They refuse to trade their freedom for an apology to the Cambodian regime. After their release, they are determined to continue their important work.
We call on Cambodia's Prime Minister Hun Manet to:
1. Release the five jailed activists immediately and without conditions.
2. Overturn all judgements against Mother Nature Cambodia activists.
3. Initiate a dialogue with environmental defenders instead of criminalising them.
Donate to our campaign for the release of the five dedicated environmental activists of Mother Nature Cambodia.
